Hey there.

Welcome to Quarter-Life Living, my outlet to help others bring style and sophistication to their twenty-something homes. Everyone deserves to love where they live, no matter the square footage.

Apparently, Colorado has decided to face-plant into Fall, because in the span of a week it went from 80 degrees to 40. Normally, I love the changing of the seasons, but DAMN give a girl a little adjustment period, will ya?

While I'm not mentally prepared for winter yet, I do really love fall. Layering outfits, warm coffee drinks, football games, crisp air. It makes the cooler temps worth it. As the year continues to roll forward, I'm finding myself eyeing up the classic fall hues - especially rich, deep reds.

Port as a color feels luxurious and warm, perfect for the turn of Autumn, and reds naturally ignite energy in a space. Too much of this color can start to feel Christmas-y though, so be sure to balance it out with neutrals and other tones.

(Good luck fighting off a wine craving after sifting through these inspo photos)
