Remember when you could make friends simply from having a 96-pack of Crayola crayons with the built-in sharpener in the back? Those were the fricking days. Despite having what seemed like thousands of waxy hues, my favorite was Cerulean, and probably still is to this day (as you can imagine, I haven't done much coloring lately). Now that I'm older, and only slightly more sophisticated, I now know this color to be along the lines of cobalt blue.
Cobalt is striking. There is something about this piercing blue that just makes my retinas happy. It honestly could be linked to my love for SKYY vodka during my early college years. The vibrancy is entrancing, and I wish I could just dive into an ocean of it. Seriously, just go and Google "cobalt blue." It's hypnotizing.
The only cobalt items I have in my apartment currently are a set of glass salt and pepper shakers, but I could see this making a color pop in our future home. Here are some bluetiful (< PUNNNNN) shots that make my inner-first grader beam.
