Hey there.

Welcome to Quarter-Life Living, my outlet to help others bring style and sophistication to their twenty-something homes. Everyone deserves to love where they live, no matter the square footage.

Well people.... We are nearly halfway through July (WHAT?!?) and I am finally back in the States again, which means it is back to the grind and back to the blog. For this Maker of the Month shout out, I'm switching it up a bit and giving it to a company that sources from makers - Loomed.

This New Orleans-based shop sources handwoven textiles from five family-run weavers in southeastern Turkey, a rare operation to find given the boom of industrial textile companies. Their pieces are beautiful, and with a range of colors and patterns, you are sure to find a style that suites your palette preference.

I have three Turkish tea towels that my friends gave to me as a gift for letting them crash for a night on their move from D.C. to San Fransisco, and now I've been eyeing them up for bathroom towels. The lighter cotton material allows them to air out quicker, so you don't get that gross towel smell (which seems to be inevitable).

Take a look and these beauties, and click on over to the Loomed website for more!
