Hey there.

Welcome to Quarter-Life Living, my outlet to help others bring style and sophistication to their twenty-something homes. Everyone deserves to love where they live, no matter the square footage.

As I covered during my Store In Style post, I would HIGHLY recommend buying only furniture pieces with hidden storage space if possible. However, if you find yourself with some open facing spaces, then it's time to get your weave on with baskets.

WAY back when, I used to love the "chabby chic" look (my how my tastes have evolved), which meant I was gaga for white baskets with gingham liners. Yes, I'm cringing. Baskets are still a great way to organize miscellaneous items though, so I've updated my look to metal ones with copper details. If metal is a little too industrial for you, then there are obviously plenty of natural designs out there (and be sure to snag one with a lid if possible, just so you have the option to fully hide your items from view).
