Hey there.

Welcome to Quarter-Life Living, my outlet to help others bring style and sophistication to their twenty-something homes. Everyone deserves to love where they live, no matter the square footage.

This month started off gorgeous, and then we had several days of rain (and ferocious hail storms, might I add), but it seems like we are finally in the full swing of summer weather here in Denver. With blue skies, green landscapes, and hot temps in the forecast, I'm constantly on the prowl for one thing: PATIOS.

If I am extended an invitation to any event these days, my main criteria (beyond how addicted I am to my latest Netflix show) is if it will be held outside. Brunch? Sounds good. Brunch on a patio? Get the bottomless mimosas ready, because I'm on my way.

My last apartment had an amazing, albeit heinously-styled rooftop patio overlooking the skyline of Kansas City from 12 stories up. Yeah.... I was pretty spoiled. Although I've lost my birds eye view, we are fortunate enough to have a little balcony right off our living room at our Denver apartment, allowing for dinners, coffees, and reading sessions outside. While there isn't much space, I've tried to create a little outdoor sanctuary to retreat to for fresh air and Vitamin D.

Have an outdoor space of your own? Check out these shots of dreamy outdoor oases to get some inspiration on how to take yours to the next level!
