Hey there.

Welcome to Quarter-Life Living, my outlet to help others bring style and sophistication to their twenty-something homes. Everyone deserves to love where they live, no matter the square footage.

The spookiest month of year is upon us, meaning Halloween is only a few short weeks away. I personally love Halloween, and use it as an opportunity to showcase my ugliest self (truly). Jonas pointed out that I have been a male character for 3 of the last 4 years.

Sorry I'm not sorry.

In addition to nailing a costume, it is also a great time to make your house look the part. There are a bazillion Halloween decorations out there, but I like to add some festiveness without being over-the-top or too "themed." The great thing about Halloween in particular: BLACK IS A-OKAY. Many of the pieces I'm drawn to add some spook just by being dark. Beyond throwing shade (decoration-wise), there are plenty of other DIY projects to add some freaky factor to your home.
